The MR DJ COMS15 2-Way PA Speaker is a rock-solid, well-voiced, unpowered PA DJ speaker at a reasonable price. It can easily take the line from any external amplified source or power amp and deliver 2500 watts P.M.P.O. of power. With no heavy onboard preamp, these passive speaker cabinets can do what they do best—provide great sound!
The input section has one Speakon jack, one 1/4" TS phone jack, and one 1/4" TS phone jack output.
MR DJ COMS15 can handle 2500 watts P.M.P.O peak power and run with a nominal 8-ohm impedance. Portable speakers can achieve 134 dB SPL, so yes, they get loud—loud enough, at least, for any medium-sized room and/or some outdoor applications (outdoor receptions, concerts in the park, etc.).
You'll find an MR DJ 15-inch 80 OZ low-frequency Woofer with a 3" voice coil when you open it. This design provides a larger cross-sectional wire area, allowing the power to flow freely through this crucial section.
