This stereo-balanced TRS cable can be used on an unbalanced 1/4" mono TS port; please don't worry. The only issue is that you still only get unbalanced output. Please do not use it to connect the guitar to the xlr mic input; due to mismatch impedance, your device will not receive the guitar signal.
