Important Connection Note
-
A 1/4" TRS connector does not automatically mean the signal is stereo. In professional audio systems, TRS is commonly used for mono balanced audio.
-
This cable can carry a balanced signal only when both connected devices support balanced connections.
-
If connected to an unbalanced output, the resulting signal path will be unbalanced.
-
This is a signal-level audio cable and should not be described as intended for "high-current applications."
-
When connecting to speakers, use it only with powered/active speakers or other equipment designed to accept line-level audio. Passive speakers require a suitable power amplifier.
-
Guitar and instrument connections may require a DI box or other impedance-matching device depending on the equipment being connected.
