At the heart of the PSS1200 is a high-efficiency 12-inch woofer featuring a 40 oz magnet and 2-inch Kapton voice coil. The heavy-duty woofer provides the powerful low-frequency response and clear midrange reproduction required for music playback, vocals, live instruments, and public address applications.

The high-frequency section utilizes a constant-directivity horn designed to provide clear vocal reproduction, crisp high frequencies, and effective sound coverage throughout the listening area.

A built-in passive crossover with overload protection properly distributes frequencies between the low- and high-frequency components while helping protect the speaker system during demanding applications.

The enclosure is manufactured from heavy-duty MDF that is stapled, bonded, and internally braced for improved structural integrity.
